Antonita was born from a family heritage. It all started with Seu Jota, a respected tailor from a time when suits were made to measure. From his craft came a legacy of fit and care that has crossed generations.

A tradition that became kidswear
Suely, filha de Seu Jota, cresceu no ateliê: atendeu clientes, costurou e modelou. Levou essa paixão para a vida adulta em fábricas e criações próprias, base que hoje sustenta o nosso jeito de fazer as coisas. Com o tempo, passou adiante esse conhecimento para sua filha Marcielly, que fez da moda sua razão de viver.
Suely, Seu Jota’s daughter, grew up in the studio: meeting clients, sewing and pattern-making. She carried that passion into adulthood through factories and her own creations, the foundation of our way of making things. Over time, she passed her knowledge to her daughter Marcielly, who made fashion her life’s work.

Em 2015, com a chegada da Antônia, filha da Marcielly, Suely transformou retalhos em roupinhas leves e estampadas para sua primeira neta. Desses primeiros moldes nasceu a Antonita, hoje assinada pela estilista Marcielly, que une criatividade ao conhecimento técnico da mãe.
In 2015, when Antônia (Marcielly’s daughter) was born, Suely turned fabric scraps into light, printed outfits for her first granddaughter. From those first patterns came Antonita, now led by designer Marcielly, blending creativity with her mother’s technical know-how.
Antônia não conheceu o bisavô, mas veste o legado dele: o cuidado com os detalhes, a precisão da modelagem e o respeito pelo trabalho artesanal.
Antônia never met her great-grandfather, but she wears his legacy: attention to detail, precise pattern-making and respect for artisanal work.
